Window Sticker Instructions

Our window decals are designed to shine outdoors: durable, weatherproof, and easy to apply. Follow the steps below for the best results.

Preparation

Make sure the window is clean and free of grease. A clear window ensures optimal adhesion and a smooth finish.
Replacing an old sticker? Remove it completely first – this way your new one will adhere best.

Step 1 – Wet the window

Fill a plant sprayer with lukewarm water and add a small drop of dish soap.
( Just a drop – too much soap will actually make the sticker slippery. )
Spray the mixture over the entire window.

Step 2 – Prepare the sticker

Place the sticker with the back facing up on a smooth surface, such as a table.
Peel back about 5cm of the backing at the top and fold it over.

Step 3 – Glue together

Wet your fingers lightly so they don't stick.
Have someone help you carefully peel off the rest of the backing while you hold the sticker.
Also spray the adhesive side of the sticker wet – this will allow you to move it around later.

Step 4 – Apply the sticker

Place the sticker on the wet window.
Thanks to the water, you can still easily position and straighten the sticker.
Are you satisfied? Use a squeegee or soft cloth to rub the water out from under the sticker, working from the center outward.

Step 5 – Let it dry

Pat the sticker dry with a soft, clean cloth.
The sticker will adhere firmly by itself once the water evaporates.
