Story of July's wallpaper circles are designed for easy application and instantly create ambiance in any room. With careful preparation and careful work, you'll achieve the most beautiful result. Follow the step-by-step instructions below.
Preparation of the substrate
Make sure the wall is smooth, clean, and free of grease. Remove dust and dirt and check that the surface is even. The wall should be dry and the area should not be too damp, so the wallpaper circle can adhere properly.
Determine the correct position on the wall beforehand. You can do this by holding the wallpaper circle loosely against the wall and lightly marking where it will hang, if necessary.
Positioning and fixing
Place the wallpaper circle in the desired location and temporarily secure it with masking tape. This prevents shifting during application and helps keep the circle straight and at the correct height.
Start pasting
Remove a small section of the sticker from the back of the wallpaper circle. Firmly stick this first section to the wall. Check the position before continuing.
Remove tape
Once the first section is secure, you can carefully remove the masking tape. The wallpaper circle will now stay in place while you continue working.
Applying a wallpaper circle
Slowly peel the sticker sheet from behind the wallpaper, while firmly pressing the wallpaper circle against the wall with your other hand. Work slowly and always rub from the center outward. This helps prevent air bubbles and ensures a smooth finish.
Finishing
If small air bubbles or slight wrinkles appear, you can carefully peel back the wallpaper a bit and press it down again. Use a soft cloth or squeegee to smooth the surface. Always work without forcing.
